Welcome to a new episode of Podcast Colloquia! The Foundation podcast Fide dedicated to expanding the debate on the most relevant legal-economic issues. In this new episode of the podcast we have Eva Maria Blazquez, Accredited Professor of Labor Law and Social Security, and with Thomas Arrieta, Honorary Professor of the Complutense University of Madrid, President of the AGE Foundation and Academic Advisor of Fide and director of Pensions Working Group, to shed light on the sustainability of the pension system in our country. We whether the partial reforms of the pension system carried out so far have marked a coherent trend to face present and future challenges, and if they lead us towards the sustainability of the pension system in the next three decades. We also assess whether the working assumptions used in these reforms contemplate the possible transfer of asymmetric budgetary pressures to the future. Which are the main challenges facing pension systems in our country and how have they evolved over the last decades? Over the years, pension reforms have been implemented at key moments. Could you briefly describe some of the most relevant reforms and how they have impacted on sustainability of pension systems so far? In addition to the demographic and longevity ,factors Do you acts dictated in tax matters, which have been put an end to the administrative procedure or that have not been appealed within the term, in the in which said acts infringe the rights and freedoms subject to constitutional protection. Well then, and this is the big news, after the unanimous and mandatory opinion of the USA Phone Number Council of State dated March 23, 2023, with a report from the State Attorney before the AEAT and from the AEAT itself, by which it is understood that the sanctions annulled by the CJEU ruling violated article.
Of the Spanish Constitution —“ No one can be sentenced or penalized for actions or omissions that at the time they occur do not constitute a crime, or administrative infraction, according to the legislation in force at that time”—, the Spanish Administration is admitting to the taxpayers who request it, the full annulment of sanctioning agreements in this way, which is good news. For now, there is no evidence that the Spanish Administration does it ex officio, but that the taxpayer has to request it.
